The design of headspace Toowoomba is inspired by its local rural context and the buildings unique industrial/warehouse vibe. The design is eclectic, lively & welcoming, aimed towards the centres youthful age group of 22-23 years.

The generous multi-level space provides various zones for private conversations, collaboration, and open plan communal spaces, all ensuring occupants comfort and safety at its core. The design celebrates its existing outdoor garden space whilst effectively reflecting the natural light throughout much of the space. The earthy colour palette is inspired by the local context which comes to life with details such as green/blue feature wall panelling, timber elements, plants, feature lighting and of course the addition of the colourful headspace branding.

Carefully selected furniture, acoustic panelling & decor add a sense of calm & make visitors feel at home and at ease. Timber look flooring and joinery elements offsets the industrial cool tones in the design. The resulting space is both energetic & welcoming and aims to help young people feel connected to not only the important services offered by headspace but their local community as well.
