This project continues Base’s trusted partnership with Stride, delivering another Medicare Mental Health Centre tailored to community needs. The design focused on creating a calming environment through earthy tones for a homely feel, paired with warm accents that reflect the rich heritage of the Bathurst region.

Despite a compact footprint, the layout is highly efficient and fully accessible. The fit-out includes five consultation rooms, a group room used for staff-led activities, a staff work hub, private offices, and refurbished amenities. The existing kitchen was re-used as the staff breakout kitchen, supporting a sustainable, cost-effective outcome.

Visitors are welcomed into a calm, accessible waiting area with reception and adjacent ambulant and PWD amenities. Every element was carefully considered to maximise functionality and comfort, supporting both the operational needs of Stride and the well-being of the local community.
